This Monday, June 25, Nathan Fowkes will be presenting a special workshop called: “From Student to Professional and Beyond” at the Animation Guild in Los Angeles.  This workshop is for artists of any level who want to develop higher quaility of work and the habits and practices of a successful professional artist.  Considering Nathan’s success as a Production Artist for many of Dreamworks’ hit films, he is a great example to learn from.

[ UPDATE 6/12/12 ] Click here to order an advance copy of this issue before it hits the shelves in late June. Please remember to double check your “delivery region” if you are not in the UK. Thanks!

Imagine FX magazine has just released a special edition that is dedicated to figure drawing.  I had the privelage to contribute 2 workshops in this issue, the first focuses on gesture, and the other on light and shade.  I had a lot of fun working on the articles and I would like to thank Imagine FX for the opportunity and being very cordial and professional.

Along with my two articles, the whole magazine is packed full of great articles, tips, tutorials and workshops.  I recommend it for anyone who wants to improve their figure drawing and foundational skills.
